The Studios

We are gradually restoring the brick and stone barn. It currently contains an art studio with eight bays for individual work and enough space for gathering as a group.

The stable studios are equipped for a range of arts courses and artists’ residencies including painting, drawing and writing. There are eight 2.4 by 2.5 meter bays for each artist and space to sit together at a large table for teaching and group work.

The studio opens onto a large covered ‘portico’ which has one side opening onto a breath-taking view across the valley. It is used as a teaching space and for enjoying meals in the shade.
